ResponderEliminarHello,
ResponderEliminarhere I am leaving a comment.
A fine introduction, if you want more advice on what to put here, maybe first explain 'moonchester'? I´m curious! And also more things about how you have learnt English (in Primark?!)
Keep up the good work!
Felicity
Hello Moonchester! I cannot give you any advices, but I agree with Felicity; your classmates want to know more about your nickname! Take care.
ResponderEliminarPS. Sorry, we are very curious.
Hello there!
ResponderEliminarwell, the name of moonchester comes from the mascot of the Manchester City Football Club. Their unofficial hymn is the song "Blue Moon" that is sung before every match City plays at home.
I started to learn english when i was a child. I decide to study it when i was 7 or 8 as my mother told me, but i was not a really good student. There was a little school next to my house...so i studied there. Long time ago, when i was at Uni (in Spain) i decide to go to England. My spanish uni had an agreement with the MMU University...so i went there! It was not an Erasmus or something like that, i went as a current student, so the level was quite difficult. (i did a Bachelor in Business Administration between Spain and England)
Once there, i decide to look for a job because i wanted to feel that experience... I found it at Primark. I have to recognise that i had some difficult moments but funny situations as well!
So i didn't learn English in Primark...but i learnt some words like... long sleeves!!! hahahaha
greetings!
Long sleeves! Always useful! I think if you have the opportunity to live in the country it is great for the language.
ResponderEliminarSo what about your second time?!
Hello again,
ResponderEliminarFinally i found a break for writing a little more...
I don't really know if i should go to England again... i would like but perhaps it is not the moment!
I went twice last year... to London and Manchester... but i would prefer to go to another place, could be Italy. The history of my family comes from Italy so it would be for me like finding my past.
Anyway, what i miss a lot from England is the way they make tv programs (spanish tv is so boring!)(i loved Top Gear and the way of making jokes... it should be a car tv program! haha)
I also miss the views of Cumbria (the lake district) or the Scottish Borders...
From Manchester i suggest to my partners, if they want to have fun, the will enjoy all the night clubs!
See you soon mates!
I agree! I love living here but the TV is so boring compared to back home! I found this article which you may find amusing...
